Plaion Announces the Line-UP for Gamescom (2022)

PLAION Koch Media, formerly a renowned studio for its involvement in Saints Row and Goat Simulator, has unveiled its lineup for Gamescom 2022.

We know that Embracer Group has made several announcements at Gamescom 2022, but their most significant project to date is undoubtedly the Volition revival. The news was made at the German show; thus, you set high-performance expectations.

Since its recent revamp, PLAION has been preparing for a robust launch. According to the press release, Gamescom’s trade and consumer sections span more than 2,000 square meters of floor space.

Games from other publishers, including Deep Silver, Prime Matter, Ravenscourt, Vertigo Games, Coffee Stain Studios, and Cardboard Sword, will be displayed alongside those from our studios.

At the exhibition, PLAION’s Hall 9 booth will have a wide selection of games for attendees to try out.

Set in the vast and original world of Santo Ileso, Saints Row is a freewheeling playground where you can drive, have fun, and take chances with the help of a wingsuit.

Time to look forward to. Fight for city control and show some bone to the likes of Neenah, Kevin, and Eli.

Saints Row’s popularity inevitably leads to forming at least one business. The Saints Row will launch on August 23; attendees to Gamescom can try the game on AMD Ryzen to get a feel for it.

Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of PLAION, explained that the company was rebranding from Koch Media to PLAION and expanding its journey to a new goal: to provide consumers with unique entertainment experiences across all conceivable platforms.

Our goal is to showcase the incredible lineup of games we’ve curated from the most brilliant creators worldwide, and this journey is the first step toward doing just that.

Playing Goat Simulator 3 to watch your stuff get smashed to bits is pointless. Fans will get the unique opportunity to watch the game and potentially chat with Pilgor in the broadcast booth—a first of its kind.

Regarding a select group of titles, Prime Matter will have a significant presence on the exhibition floor. Mato Anomalies, a neo-futuristic police role-playing game; Gungrave GORE, a stylish action role-playing game in which players assume the role of Grave and slay enemies in a bloody dance of bullets;

The Last Oricru, an exploration of a medieval science fiction world; System S, a classic action role-playing game in which players take on one of gaming’s most infamous AI villains, SHODAN;

Let’s Sing Presents ABBA will be playable at Gamescom for the first time in its history in the PLAION area, along with another title from Ravenscourt that has not yet been disclosed.

Play as the deadliest Corgi in the history of arcade shooters in ProtoCorgi, available at the Indie Arena booth in Hall 10.2. Discover the Canadian wilderness during the coldest time of year as you battle to stay alive in the Kona II Brume adventure.

The Siege and the Sandfox, a gorgeous 16-bit stealth Metroidvania developed by Cardboard Sword, will also have its first playable demo available to fans at the Indie Arena Booth.

After The Fall, produced by Vertigo Games, is available at Pico Interactive’s stand for those looking for a more immersive experience (Hall 9).
